DESCRIPTION
“Sun Dragons” is an archival giclee print on canvas of an original painting by Neicy Frey. This design depicts a large-scale branch of white Phalaenopsis orchids set against a solid dark-green background.
This artwork has a modern sensibility, softened by the organic shapes and the ethereal color palette of the petals. The high contrast of the orchids against the dark background make this a bold and stunning piece.

COMPOSITION: This is a large-scale composition with the subject going off the edges of the canvas. Orchids cascade diagonally across the canvas
COLOR: Velvety off-white flower petals are contoured in warm grey and pastel pink, peach and lavender; flower centers are warm terra cotta and gold; background is a very dark earthy green; matte finish
GICLEES ON CANVAS
Giclee prints on canvas are museum quality and coated with a clear, matte UV coating. Smaller-scale prints on canvas are stretched onto a 1.25 inch wooden frame and ready to hang. Large-scale canvas prints are sold flat with a 2 inch printed border for stretching. Canvases are signed on a lower corner of the front as well as on the back of the canvas.
Canvas prints larger than 18 x 24" are sold unframed so they can be shipped rolled in a tube, and will need to be stretched onto a frame on your end. This is a common service provided by art supply stores, frame shops and even artists' studios.
Framed canvases ship domestically only. International buyers will receive their canvas rolled in a tube.

All giclees are made to order in Spokane, Washington and will be shipped within 5-7 business days. You’ll receive an email notification when your artwork leaves our studio, which includes your tracking number.
Please be aware that shipping charges are an estimate. Shipping costs can vary depending on location and size, and will be billed separately or refunded if there is a disparity in the actual shipping costs.
All print sales are final.
